Antique Victorian Classic Revival / Neo Etruscan Necklace. Peridot and natural pearls in 18k gold. Made circa 1880. Weigh 5grams (together).
Measures approx 15 1/4 inches (39cm) long. Weighs 15.7grams. 

Beautifully made Etruscan Revival / Neo Classic necklace. Consists of alternating peridot and pearl links. The oval, faceted peridot are colette set with granulated

canetille work around the bottoms; the half pearls are the center of mirror-image double heart scrolls, also colette set and with the same granulated borders.

Extremely light yet righ look. The clasp matches the peridot sections.

The back part of the necklace consists of 4 strands of small, natural pearls on either side. Secure clasp. The necklace fits perfectly at the nape of the neck and is

quite stunning without being overbearing or ostentatious, when worn.  <

No hallmarks were found, but the gold was tested for 18k.
