Antique, VIctorian long 14k gold chain necklace. Made circa 1870-1900.

Measures 50 inches long, excluding the loop attachment. Weighs 21.9 grams. 

Beautiful links of two types constitute this long chain. Double round loops, joined together at right angles for more interest. Long, rectangular links, approx 21-2 mm long each, twist around themselves, catching the light from a variety of angles. Sides finely decorated with openwork stars, diamonds and scrolls. Delicate appearance without compromising sturdy strength. A loop for a fob or charm has been attached. 

No hallmarks, but acid stays for 14k. 

Good condition.
