Antique, porcelain figural snuffer in the form of a nun. Made by the Royal Worcester factory in England, 1897.

Measures approximately 3 3/4 inches high.

Nun, wearing a white apron over her black habit. Tied with rope. Gold keys hang from a gold chain. Large, floppy hat, Demure expression on her very finely

handpainted face. Holds a black Bible in the crook of her elbow.

Puce mark inside the snuffer, dates the piece to 1897.
