Antique Georgian hoop earrings. Over 200 years old. From the Iberian Peninsula (Spanish / Portugese), 18th century.  

Measure approx 3/4 inch (19mm) accross widest portion. Combined weight is 5.0 grams.  

Crescent shaped flat hoops. An intricate design of openwork garlands of flowers amidst scrolls of gold wire work and golden globules. Bright cut engraved detail. Flowers are possibly stylised roses.

Wires through the ears with well-hidden joins and secure, easy clasps. Gold unmarked 14k, typical of the age and place. 

Exceptionally good condition considering their age and delicate nature.
