Each sapphire is approx .75ct in size. 49 rosecut diamonds, measuring a total of approx .75ct. Total length of chain is 40cm (15 3/4 inches), not including the
clasp. Length of drop is 4 1/2 cm (just under 1 3/8 inch) at longst point. Weighs 6.6grams.
Necklace combines very fine detail with strong design using basic geometric shapes - circles, triangles, diamonds. A platinum chain attaches on either side to a
small horizontal bar consisting of a pair of circles flanking a diamond-shape - each containing a rose cut diamond. Mounted in filigree platinum. Each of the
circular colettes suspendsa platinum bar, one longer than the other, with a diamond-shaped colette enclosing another rose cut diamond. Tiny links beneath the bottom
points suspend elongated triangular shapes, leading to another round colette-set rose cut. Finally, a pair of sapphires: one deep blue, one bright yellow, enclosed
in a ring of rose-cut diamonds. The lavalier has a yellow gold back, very typical of antique jewellery. The clasp is also a combination of platinum and gold, clearly
originally made this way, with a security clip on one side.
Very good condition.
