Measures a little over 21mm (7/8 inch) side to side. Approx 3.9cm (1.5inches) long / top to bottom. Weighs 6grams. 110 rose cut and old mine cut diamonds approx
1.19ct. G-H-I color.
Rectangular with canted corners and gently convex for emphasis. Openwork garlands of foliage surround a central old cut diamond rose. Rose cut border. 4 articulated
rose and old cut diamond tassles drop from a conical hood, suspended from a diamond surmount. Diamonds colette set with filigree borders to the settings. Diamonds
set in platinum to show them off to greatest advantage. Back is yellow gold.
The hinged pin at the back is in good order. THere appears to be a fitting for attaching the brooch as a hair or turban ornament.
No hallmarks.
