Antique, Victorian set consisting of earrings and a pendant necklace. Amethysts set in 14K gold. Made circa 1870-80. 

Pendant is just under 2 inches long, including the loop. Earrings just under 1/2 inch in diameter. Circles of pendant matching in size to those of earrings. Combined weight is 9.5grams. 

Perfect for wearing by day or night. Design shows Archaelogical Revival / Neo Etruscan influence in the circular disks, surrounded by filigree borders. The disks of gold, each set with a large amethyst in a lovely violet colour. The Classic Revival theme is further continued in the beaded globes that are suspended and adorn the pendant.  Earrings easy to insert and comfortable to wear with additional clasp for security. The chain is a later addition for your convenience.

No hallmarks, but gold tests at least 14k.
