Antique Chinese carved jade Buddha set in a gold mount circa 1920-30's.

Measures approx 1 inch accross the bottom and a little less than 1 inche top to bottom (not including the loop).  Weighs 5.7grams.

THis is a particularly lovely piece of jade with great colour and luminocity. Carved fat, smiling Buddha. At a later date, circa 1920-30's, it was set in a gold mount, which is barely visible from the front, but for a couple of clips and a loop to hang it from.

Marks inside the loop are not known. Gold was tested and stays for 18k, but will be guarranteed at least 14k.
