Antique Earrings. 18k yellow gold, peridots and diamonds. Exact date not known - from Victorian to early 20th century.  

Approximately 4.78 inches (5cm) long. Combined weight is 9.8grams.  

A round peridot stud surmounts a series of gemstones linked by loops.  Similarly sized round peridot, some in groups framed and centered by small rosecut diamonds and finally a pear-shaped briolette peridot gem. The small section of diamonds is backed by a lighter metal on top of the gold, which could be silver or white gold, in order to set them off more effectively, which is typical of the Victorian era. The rest of the earrings, including the butterflies are 18k gold. Earrings look gorgeous and are easy and comfortable to wear.  

Butterfly backs are hallmarked 750 for 18k gold. The earrings were acid tested for at least 18k gold.
