Approximate US size 5.5; Weighs 15.9 grams.
No 'photo can do this ring justice: it arches and curves high up above the finger, matching the elongated, elegant Nouveau feel. A divided band/shank divides on
either end, at the shoulders, into a pair of long, flowing leaves. Within each is a highly detailed, very finely modelled flower, each set with a diamond at it's
center. Similar flowers between each of these complete the ring, one set with a diamond, the other with a gold bead center - a lovely quirk, typical of the Arts and
Crafts sense of assymmetry and imbalance. The void formed by the 4 flowers, irregular in shape, is set with a light green tourmaline sugar-loaf cabochon. The
gemstone is as unequally formed as the rest of the ring, with various angles catching the light in different ways and immeasurably adding to the interest. The ring
looks fabulous on the finger and is a little work of art unto itself. Beautiful workmanship mirrors the quality of design.
No hallmarks/identifying marks found.
Very good condition.
