Antique, Art Nouveau Brooch Pin / Watch hanger . 14carat gold and enamel. Made by William Link Co / ( Link & Angell from 1893 ), Newark New Jersey, circa 1900.  

Measures 1 inch accross. (2.4cm). Weighs 2.8 grams.  

Classic Art Nouveau: a framework of sweeping, swooping ribbed bands loops around itself with deep whiplash motion. Somewhat heartshaped. In the center is a pretty

flower and pair of leaves, all beautifully enamelled in iridescent shades of pink, yellow and greens. Very pretty. 

The back of the brooch has it's original pin and a loop for hanging a fob watch. 

Back is hallmarked 14k and has 3 oval loops, with the symbols L&A in each. Stands for the William Link Co, established in Newark, New Jersey c1871, and called Link &

Angell from 1893 due to a change in partnership.  

Good, original condition. No damage to the enamel was found.
