Antique Art Deco Ring. Platinum set with diamonds and sapphires. Made circa 1920's.  

Slightly under a US size 8 (over 18mm). Length of bezel is approx 3/4inch (20mm). Weighs 5.8grams.

Approximately 1.5 ct of diamonds, including 2 Old European Cut round diamonds each approx 3.65mm and 44 smaller round diamonds.

Approximately 2 carats of sapphires, including one oval mixed cut approx 7.20 X 5.50mm.  

An excellent example of fabulous Art Deco workmanship with finely set gems mounted in platinum with filigree edges. Openwork allowing light to enter from all angles, increases the brilliance of the stones and interest of the setting's design. The design is Classic Art Deco, the stones arching around the finger and the play of colours leading the eye in every direction.  

No marks of any kind were found.
