Antique / strictly speaking vintage, ring. 22 carat gold set with a large emerald. Made in India circa 1940-50. 

US size 7.5. Can be carefully resized. Bezel with emerald is 1/2 inch (12.5mm) long. Weighs 6.5 grams. Emerald is 3.10ct approx. 

Repousse gold scrolling mount - solid with fine detail, leads the eye to the large, oval emerald. Very impressive and attractive on the finger and could be worn by

either a man or a woman. Great pinky or signet ring for a gentleman. 

Gold was acid tested.
