Antique / Vintage estate ring. 14carat gold and opal.  Artist signed H. Mace. Exact date not known. 

US size 7. Weighs 8 grams. Total length of the bezel is 18mm.  

Classic good looks. An oval opal with fabulous fire and light, vividly flashing. Tones from deep blue to yellow lights with turquoise and orange inbetween. Set in a

gold mount with rope-twist and crimped simple patterning. The forked shoulders each have an applied flower embellishment. The opal is colette set and it is not

possible to see anything but the top of the stone. Looks great on any finger and suitable for a man or a woman.  

Inside is marked both 14k and H. MACE. It is possible that H Mace was a Native American jeweller in which case, this is a particularly fine example of Native

American gold jewels.
