Antique choker necklace. Gold filled and paste. Made during the Victorian era, late 19th century, circa 1895-1905. <P><P>
Measures 15 inches long. Approx 7/8 inches wide. <P><P>
A series of rectangular amethyst faceted paste gems, set vertically in gold-coloured metal. Joined together by 3 chains of the same metal links, each chain with a round amethyst paste in it's center. The clasp is very secure and attractive in it's own right. Chokers like this are extremely rare and this one is highly attractive and in good original condition.
