Antique / vintage .830 silver fish shaped box used for spices. European Judaica. Exact date is unknown and could be anywhere between 19th century and 1950's.

Measures 6 1/2 inches long. Weighs 72 grams.

Beautifully modelled spice box in the shape of a fish. Moulded and engraved detail to scales, fins and face. Set with red eyes. Tail section removes to insert

spices in hollow of body. Little holes in the mouth for fragance to emerge.

830 silver standard hallmark on one of the fins.

Very good condition.
