Antique figural pig sterling silver pincushion. Made in Birmingham, England, circa 1905.

Measurements: approx 3 1/2 inches long (snout to tail); just under 2 1/2 inches tall. Weighs 72.6 grams.

Pin cushion in the form of a fabulous pig. Wonderful modelling with fabulous detail to face and cute tail. Tiny forked feet. Top of back is deep blue stuffed velvet. 

Hallmarks: some clear and some with various degrees of wear. Maker's marks A.W and G.L; City mark, anchor for Birmingham, lion passant for sterling silver, date letter worn, but appears to be 'f' for 1905. 

Condition: there are a few pinpoint dings that do not impact this wonderful piggy, notably one near the tail and one on the right cheek. Otherwise good condition with wonderful patina. (see 'photos).
