Antique amethyst earrings set in 15carat yellow gold. Made in England circa 1820, during the Regency era.

Total length (not including loops), is approx 27mm (1 1/16 inch) long. Larger stones approx 1/2 inch long. Total weight just under 6grams.

Beautiful coloured gems - a nice deep violet, contrasting strongly with the yellow gold. Stones gently faceted. Smaller oval suspends larger stone that swings as wearer moves. Colette set with granules in little clusters / flowers around the sides, forming delicate sunbursts. Very royal in feel. Wires are easy to insert and comfortable to wear.

Very good condition with no damage to be found.
