Measurements: Weight is 5.6grams. Approximately 1 7/8 inch (5cm) long, not counting ear wires.
Description : Long, elegant, dangle ear pendant earrings.  Comfortable, simple wires go through ear lobes with hinged triangles that snap over the ear wires, securing them firmly.  A long line of diamonds, fully articulated allowing total freedom of movement so that earrings swing and sway as the wearer moves. Uppermost colette/surmount is tulip-shaped and set with 4 single cut diamonds. A mirror-image tear-shaped pair of colettes seperates another 3 round colettes containing single cut diamonds. The point of the bottom colette leads to the main body of the earrings, which is a stylised leaf form composed of silver cells containing diamonds and rectangular cut rubies and emeralds. Gems are lovely bright and sparkly and add to the gleam and strong sense of movement described above. Beautiful workmanship and quality. A superb pair of earrings to wear to the best parties, weddings or other occasions.
Marks and Metal: No marks.

Condition: Good with negligible wear commensurate with age.  Please see enlarged pictures and don't hesitate to ask questions which we will do our best to answer.
THE STORY: The first quarter of the 20th century brought about many technological innovations. Combined with a supply of beautiful stones coming from Brazil, Asia and Africa, French and other jewellers created fabulously beautiful and fine jewelry. This pair of earrings is a good example of the workmanship of that period. The earrings are extremely elegant, combining a refined look with a sophisticated sense of movement.
